There were 7 of us in all, you can't see Darrell because he is the one taking the picture, and 3 dogs. We got to their usual spot and set up camp then sat in our camping chairs and enjoyed the wonderfull sunshine weather while the boys went hunting for more firewood. It was a fun night, we enjoyed Morgan on the guitar and Kelly on the harmonica, followed closely by singing from the rest of the group and dancing from Justin and I. It was a perfect night to set up camp and enjoy relaxing in the woods with friends one last time before summer fades away.

Prison Camp
So Prison Camp is this place off of highway 6, out in the middle of nowhere. It is called Prison Camp beacause there is a minimum security prison/work camp there and the prisoners help to

My Birthday!
So my birthday was awesome, to say the least! My mom flew in to town and Caela and Ben drove up. We had dinner at the Chart House, of course, if you don't know by now I am a HUGE steak girl. Dinner was great! They even put my name on the menu, it made it really special. After dinner came the bowling...Everyone showed up which was great! It was nice to see all my friends out and having fun. Yes, I bowled in my pink party dress, it was awesome! Happy birthday to me, I bowled the best game ever, a 197! Don't worry, I took a picture in case no one believes me. I think bowling was definately a great choice and was very successful. After bowling of course we decided to make one last stop, since some friends were getting off work....we made the mistake of going to the Old Barn, did I mention, never go there! Well, we had fun for the most part, despite the building hazards and some injuries because of them. Needless to say, my birthday was great, but ended with ruined shoes and bruises! What do you do? Maybe talk to management...oh wait, tried that, they were awefull. How that place is still in business I have no idea, but they just lost a lot of business after ruining my birthday, that's for sure! Well, next year I know...bowling is a definate "yes" just be careful where you go afterwards!
Bumbershoot
Every year in Seattle they have what is call Bumbershoot. It is a HUGE 3 day event in which there are a lot of live performances by bands, comedians, and a lot of booths and food. So a 3 day hippie fest, as Morgan would put it.
This year we had the pleasure of going to Bumbershoot, thanks to my Mom. She flew out from D.C. and we all drove up from Oregon (Caela, Ben, Morgan and I). We then enjoyed pouring rain, at parts, and wonderfull music. We had the pleasure of seeing Patton Oswalt, who is hilarious by the way, if you ever get the chance to see him you should. We also go to see one of our favorites, Jason Mraz, who always puts on a good live show!
It was a great weekend of good food, family and fun! I look forward to doing that again another year, I love and miss Seattle, it'll always be my home!

Morgan's Birthday!
For those of you that do not know...Morgan is not a fan of surprises. Which is why I decided to plan him a surprise party the day before his birthday. I invited all of Morgan's friends I could get a hold of and had them meet us at the Mandarin Palace for a night of good food, kareoke, pool, and a lot of fun! It was great! I think Morgan had a wonderfull birthday and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, he wasn't too mad about the surprise either. Las Vegas!
So...I went to Vegas! I decided that this year I would get the chance to see most of what I wanted to see. With a whole week there I think I accomplished that!!! I also think that a week is way too long to be in Vegas! 
In terms of pool, I shot well, I moved up to a 4, and we made it 4 rounds before we lost out, but we tried our best as a team and that's what counts. I got to experience a lot of Vegas this time around...one thing I learned was that you should NOT stay off the strip. While it was nice to stay in a timeshare, it was so far away that we never went back to cook meals, so it didn't really save money. I also learned that if you want to gamble cheaply you have to stick to the old casinos, I'm not a big gambler, but when in Vegas! 
I got the pleasure of seeing a couple of my friends while I was down there. I got to eat dinner at The Venetian with Sheryl and I got to hang out with Julie for a couple days. Julie came down to see me for one day and ended up staying for 3...aaaah, the black hole that is Vegas. We did get to go to Mandalay Bay and see the Shark Reef which was really fun! I can't way to go back and visit again, the right way, although I think I did Vegas pretty good this year (next time not a whole week though!).

4th of July
We spent our 4th just relaxing and BBQing. What else could you ask for but good friends and good food?! We went over to Luke's, ate some food, played some pool, and watched fireworks from the front steps!
